Dusty, I feel strongly that this should be a dynamic ara of your site, being updated frequently, or at least regularly, to reflect the events in your life, what you're doing, anything along those lines. This is why people will come and be interested in the site and you. I haven't had time to creat a nice, user frienly 'blog updating script here, so I'm open to your input. maybe for now, you want to write a story or something interesting that we can stick here static for a while untill we get further? I don't know. Something narative, entertaining and informative about you, your life, what you're doing? Just a little less formal than the Artist's statement? I think you still want to have that in a formal section so you look "put together."

for now-->The main theme I project in my paintings is human figurative comic tragedies. I paint imaginary images based on the absurdities and humor of the human race. I create stories to reflect the humor in human nature and what I witness in human behavior, beliefs and ideals in society. I make unbelievable, dreamy, theatrical, human scenes with profound childlike images. I try to capture the spontaneity, confusion and curiosity of a child's mind and put that perspective in the paintings. The paintings are overly exciting and active, like the entertainment world and our communicaton systems . Sometimes the figures are even hyper-happy. I put chaos, abstraction and confusion in my paintings to let the viewer's mind wander with curiosity and question the thought process itself. I try to make the paintings conductors to over stimulate and question our thoughts , imagination and comical ways of living in a childlike fashion.
